General Overview:
Working full time, the successful individual will develop their knowledge of compact construction equipment by performing general labour tasks to help team members meet the needs of customers. The successful candidate will be a hard working and motivated individual, requiring excellent organizational skills and the willingness to be flexible and adapt to whatever challenges come your way.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning and detailing of equipment.
- Complete routine checks on equipment to ensure it is safe and without damage.
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment manually or with forklift, as needed.
- Operate pump trucks, as required.
- Ensure that all equipment is stored in appropriate and designated areas.
- Perform general facility maintenance and minor repairs.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and skillfully, as required.
- Ensure supplies are available and organized. As well as maintain inventory and report accurate counts.
- Maintain exceptional order, cleanliness, work output and safe working conditions.
- High regard for safety.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s license.
- Heavy lifting required.
- A great team player with excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to drive and operate a variety of equipment, preferred.
- A hard working, dedicated individual with a strong work ethic.
